Intel is seeking a SOC Performance Architect to design and evaluate complex hardware features and structures for the XEON CPU and AI portfolio. Responsibilities include defining, documenting, and testing processes, and identifying/resolving design weaknesses to influence future product architecture. The role requires experience in computer architecture, software engineering, performance analysis, SoC-level development, and proficiency in programming and scripting languages.

What you'd actually do

  1. You will work in dynamic team environment hand in hand with our design, validation, and architecture teams to deliver best-in-class performance and innovations across the XEON CPU and AI portfolio.
  2. Determining, specifying and evaluating the viability of complex hardware features and structures and ensures that software and hardware designs interface correctly.
  3. Designs framework for particular functions.
  4. Defines, documents and tests processes for inclusion into technical platforms, subsystem specifications, input/output and working parameters for hardware and/or software compatibility.
  5. Identifies, analyzes and resolves subsystem and/or SoC design weaknesses. Influences the shaping of future products by significantly contributing to the architecture used across design families.
