Soc Power Thermal Performance Validation Engineer Intern

Internship role focused on power and performance validation of Intel silicon products (Xeon family). Responsibilities include debugging, data collection, data analysis, validation coverage assessment, and potentially test automation and infrastructure development. Requires pursuing a degree in a relevant field and 6 months of experience in computer architecture, programming (C, C++, Python), and SoC microarchitecture.

What you'd actually do

  1. contributes to the power, performance validation with Intel silicon products mainly focused on the Xeon family.
  2. supports validation engineering efforts to ensure product readiness, reliability, and quality before launch and post launch.
  3. participate in debugging, data collection, data analysis, validation coverage assessment, and may assist in test automation and the development of validation infrastructure.

Skills

Required

  • Computer architecture, CPU architecture fundamentals, and SoC architecture
  • Programming languages such as C, C++, or Python
  • System architecture and SoC microarchitecture
  • Intermediate to Advanced English proficiency
  • Unrestricted, permanent right to work in Costa Rica
