This role focuses on designing, building, and maintaining custom business solutions using low-code technologies like Power Apps, Power Automate, and SharePoint within an enterprise environment. The primary goal is to automate processes, streamline operations, and accelerate decision-making, with a strong emphasis on security compliance and integration with Microsoft 365 and Azure services. It is not directly involved in core AI/ML model development but rather in leveraging existing platforms to build business applications.

What you'd actually do

  1. Gather and analyze business requirements from stakeholders and translate them into functional low‑code developed solutions.
  2. Design, build, and configure Power Apps to automate processes and improve user experiences.
  3. Develop SharePoint Online sites, lists, libraries, and modern pages; create custom forms and workflows using Power Automate.
  4. Integrate Power Apps and Power Automate with Microsoft 365 services (Teams, Outlook, Planner).
  5. Implement security and permission models across Power Platform and SharePoint environments (role‑based access, sharing policies, etc.).

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in STEM or equivalent experience
  • Experience in software development
  • Experience developing Power Apps solutions
  • SharePoint development background
  • Expertise with Power Automate
  • Ability to elicit stakeholder feedback
  • Define requirements
  • Produce clear documentation
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret level security clearance
