What you'd actually do

  1. Partner with business stakeholders, product teams, and IT leaders to identify problems or improvement opportunities and recommend scalable, performant software solutions with a system‑wide architectural perspective.
  2. Analyze moderate to high‑risk business and technical requirements, design solution alternatives, and contribute to technical decision‑making across platforms and systems.
  3. Design and implement software solutions using appropriate programming languages, frameworks, and platforms. Develop code, configure systems, and continuously improve application quality and performance.
  4. Apply modern engineering practices including CI/CD, automated testing, version control, and secure coding standards.
  5. Create and maintain unit tests, participate in integration and cross‑functional testing efforts, and document test outcomes.

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
  • 4 + years or more of professional software development experience
  • Solid understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and modern development practices

  • Experience working with cloud‑based solutions
  • Experience in healthcare or other highly regulated environments
