Software Development Engineer role focused on building and deploying ML and GenAI models to resolve disruptions in Amazon's Middle Mile Transportation network. What you'd actually do

  1. You'll develop an intelligent system powered by ML and GenAI to automatically resolve disruptions occurring in the real world.
  2. You will build and deploy machine learning models for predictive analytics and leverage generative AI for intelligent automation and decision support.
  3. You will regularly interact with our customers, and engineering and business stakeholders across senior levels.
  4. You will participate in the planning and execution of technology projects and operational excellence initiatives.
  5. You'll help junior engineers develop their skills, and continue to raise the bar and build the future of Amazon.

Skills

Required

  • 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
  • 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
  • Experience programming with at least one software programming language

Nice to have

  • 3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
  • Undergraduate degree in mathematics, engineering, statistics, computer science or a related field, or experience working for Amazon or any Amazon subsidiary or affiliate
