Seeking a Software Development Manager for the Routing Execution team to build and scale intelligent order routing systems, focusing on customer experience and operational efficiency. The role involves leading a team of engineers, guiding system design, and collaborating cross-functionally.

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)
  • 5+ years of professional software development experience
  • 2+ years of experience leading or managing software engineering teams
  • Strong proficiency in a modern programming language such as Java or Python
  • Experience designing and building scalable, distributed systems using cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP)
  • Strong system design and problem-solving skills, with the ability to evaluate trade-offs and drive pragmatic decisions
  • Demonstrated ownership of systems or projects, with a track record of delivering results in a fast-paced environment
  • Proven ability to develop and grow engineers through coaching, mentorship, and feedback
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to influence both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution

  • Experience building systems at eCommerce scale
