Experienced Software Development Manager to lead a team building the next generation of distributed, scalable financial systems. The role involves designing, building, and implementing scalable solutions, mentoring engineers, and driving the adoption of emerging technologies like agentic AI and LLMs.

  1. Working collaboratively, shape the vision and strategy for solving business problems spread across retail and other cross systems outside of retail
  2. Design scalable, secure systems that handle sensitive financial data.
  3. Mentor, grow, and share the journey to deliver with quality.
  4. Deep dive, develop and deliver systems that are highly maintainable. Technical leader for the team with the ability to deliver against all odds.

Skills

Required

  • 3+ years of engineering team management experience
  • 7+ years of engineering experience
  • 8+ years of leading the definition and development of multi tier web services experience
  • Knowledge of engineering practices and patterns for the full software/hardware/networks development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, certification, and livesite operations
  • Experience partnering with product or program management teams

Nice to have

  • Experience in communicating with users, other technical teams, and senior leadership to collect requirements, describe software product features, technical designs, and product strategy
  • Experience in recruiting, hiring, mentoring/coaching and managing teams of Software Engineers to improve their skills, and make them more effective, product software engineers
