Senior Manager for Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) FastConnect, a mission-critical, cloud-native service providing high-speed, low-latency, dedicated connectivity to Oracle Cloud for enterprises. The role involves leading a team to build new features, manage design decisions, project planning, release planning, operational excellence, cost management, and improving build/test systems. Responsibilities include managing on-call rotations, resolving complex distributed network issues, bridging Development and SRE teams, participating in roadmap planning, and hiring. The focus is on delivering resilient and intelligent networking systems for large enterprises.

What you'd actually do

  1. Lead a team that builds new features, enhancements and bug fixes for the service - obtain results through the people you lead
  2. Influence and review design decisions, project planning, release planning, delivery and operational excellence of all changes going to production environments
  3. Manage costs, optimize resources and lead process improvements - build economically viable, fiscally competitive and streamlined teams to achieve the goals for their team and the organization
  4. Help maintain and improve the build and test systems including systems for performance and scalability testing.
  5. Work with internal and external teams to unblock development and meet committed release dates.
