Roles and Responsibilities
- Working closely with senior engineers and architects to understand requirements and software development activities.
- Implementation of software features based on design specifications and guidance
- Contributing to development and maintenance of application software components.
- Participating in testing and debugging software to ensure quality and reliability.
- Collaborating with global teams to support consistent and reusable software development practices.
- Troubleshooting and resolving software defects and performance issues.
- Contributing to continuous improvement of development processes and software quality
Quality Specific Goals:
- Aware of and comply with the GEHC Quality Manual, Quality Management System, Quality Management Policy, Quality Goals, and applicable laws and regulations as they apply to this job type/position
- Complete all planned Quality & Compliance training within the defined deadlines
- Identify and report any quality or compliance concerns and take immediate corrective action as required
- Support compliance/closure of Regulatory and Quality requirements before completing Design Outputs/Program Deliverables
- Participate in continuous improvement activities by identifying and appropriately escalating process and product quality gaps, providing solutions when possible
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or related field.
- 0–7 years of experience in software development (including internships or academic projects).
- Basic understanding of software development lifecycle and testing practices.
- Basic programming skills in one or more languages such as C++, C#.
- Basic understanding of object-oriented programming concepts.
- Business-level English communication skills for global collaboration.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in computer science, Engineering or related computer field
- Experience in application development using modern frameworks and development tools
- Fluent English communication skills (written and verbal)
