What you'd actually do

  1. Research, design, develop, build, and test systems-level software to deliver Instagram experiences on Android-based devices, including Meta’s latest cutting-edge AR glasses and smartwatches and beyond.
  2. Reimagine and reinvent product experiences by leveraging the unique capabilities of each device to create immersive, intuitive, and device-native Instagram functionality (not simply porting the mobile app).
  3. Build core Instagram experiences from the ground up on these devices to connect users globally through new AR technology.
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (product, design, operations, infrastructure) to deliver innovative application experiences.
  5. Implement custom user interfaces using modern programming techniques and technologies.
