Software Engineer, Dev Tools

Polymarket Polymarket · Fintech · Remote · Engineering

Software Engineer to own and improve the developer experience across Polymarket's APIs, SDKs, and documentation. This role sits at the intersection of engineering and product thinking, focusing on identifying and shipping improvements to make integration faster and more intuitive for external developers.

What you'd actually do

  1. Improve APIs, SDKs, and docs. Own the quality, consistency, and usability of Polymarket's developer-facing surfaces – finding gaps, fixing them, and raising the bar for what great developer experience looks like.
  2. Reduce time to first success. Identify integration friction and turn it into practical improvements that help external developers get up and running faster. You'll ramp quickly on our APIs, SDKs, and docs and ship meaningful improvements early and often.
  3. Partner across engineering. Work closely with engineers to improve usability, consistency, and quality across developer-facing systems, becoming a trusted contributor across key Dev Tooling initiatives over time.
  4. Close the feedback loop. Debug developer issues, gather signals from how developers are getting stuck, and use those insights to guide what gets built next.
  5. Operate with autonomy and impact. Drive high-impact Dev Tooling workstreams independently, with strong product judgment and measurable results on developer experience and adoption.
  6. Ship with leverage. Use AI consistently as part of your development workflow – to accelerate implementation, debugging, and documentation – while maintaining quality and sound technical judgment.
