The Education Account Linking team enables users to link their consumer accounts with their Education (Edu) account and share, enabling users to take their learning experience everywhere they go.
Google plays an important role in education around the world – with hundreds of millions of students using Google Classroom, Google Workspace, Chromebooks, YouTube, and more. In addition to powering these core products, we’re experimenting with new tools to advance the boundaries of how education leaders understand and guide their schools, staff, and students.

Responsibilities
- Review code developed by other developers and provide feedback to ensure best practices (e.g., style guidelines, checking code in, accuracy, testability, and efficiency).
- Contribute to existing documentation or educational content and adapt content based on product/program updates and user feedback.
- Triage product or system issues and debug/track/resolve by analyzing the sources of issues and the impact on hardware, network, or service operations and quality.
- Design and build new software systems spanning data processing, infrastructure, deployment, and development.
- Work with partner engineering teams across Edu Classroom, Gemini, Drive, and elsewhere in Google to integrate APIs, services and systems.
Qualifications
Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 2 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages, or 1 year of experience with an advanced degree.
- 2 years of experience with full stack development, across back-end such as Java, Python, Golang, or C++ codebases, and front-end experience including JavaScript or TypeScript, HTML, CSS or equivalent.
Preferred qualifications:
- Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related technical fields.
- 2 years of experience with data structures and algorithms.
- Experience developing accessible technologies.
