What you'd actually do

  1. Collaborate on System Requirements and Software Development by defining system requirements and translating them into detailed software requirements, UML/SysML models, and diagrams for a large-scale program
  2. Work closely with other software engineers and team members to ensure clear communication and collaboration, fostering a cohesive, solution-focused environment across multiple disciplines
  3. Provide direct support to the SBCDS team, answer technical questions and resolve issues promptly to keep development on track and maintain system integrity
  4. Collaborate with your team to maintain, enhance, and develop software that aligns with customer requirements and meets certification standards, ensuring both functionality and compliance
  5. Take responsibility for producing high-quality software implementations and integrating them within testing environments, ensuring the code is thoroughly tested and meets all specified requirements

Skills

Required

  • Embedded Development using object-oriented design
  • development tool sets, for example, Jira, Subversion/Git/Version Management
  • Active and transferable SECRET clearance
