Northrop Grumman is seeking an Embedded Software Engineer to join their team in San Diego, CA. The role involves participating in the full software development lifecycle for flight and mission-critical systems, working with real-time operating systems in an Agile environment. Responsibilities include designing, developing, integrating, and testing embedded software, analyzing system capabilities, and collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams. A Top Secret clearance is required.

What you'd actually do

  1. Work in a fast-paced environment with high expectations, significantly diverse assignments, and collaborative team settings across all levels
  2. Participate in the full Software (SW) development life cycle including requirements, design, implementation, qualification, and delivery of SW products to our customers
  3. Operate in an embedded technology development environment working with real-time operating systems for use in flight and mission critical systems
  4. Work in Agile Scrum teams to develop SW products for multiple SW baselines
  5. design, develop, integrate and test SW for our end-user customers and businesses.

What the JD emphasized
