What you'd actually do

  1. Will be responsible for developing and maintaining scalable DevOps solutions and CI/CD pipelines to enable efficient software delivery
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve automation, reliability, and system performance
  3. Design, build, implement, and maintain a CI/CD pipeline using tools such as GitLab and Jenkins
  4. Develop and maintain complex software applications using languages such as Python, Java, Bash, and PowerShell
  5. Implement solutions for an enterprise-scale network, including building Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and Software-defined Networking (SDN) to optimize network management

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or a related field from an accredited university, along with 2 years of experience; or a Master’s degree in a related field with 0 years of relevant work experience; or 6 years of relevant work experience may be considered as an alternative to a degree
  • current, active DoD 8140 certification at IAT Level II or higher (such as Security+, GSEC, SCNP, SSCP, CISSP, CISA, GSE, SCNA, etc.)
  • current, active in-scope DoD-issued Secret security clearance
  • Willingness to travel 10% of the time for business needs
  • effective communicator with excellent writing and presentation skills, proficient with Microsoft PowerPoint and Visio drawing tools
  • capable of collaborating effectively with a team of highly motivated engineers and working independently, when necessary, on large field projects
  • Experience coding in various programming languages, including Python and Java, as well as scripting languages such as Bash and PowerShell
  • Understanding of object-oriented programming principles, API integration (particularly REST APIs), and Git version control
  • Ability to script and test automation for software tools
  • Understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies
