Role Summary Walmart is seeking a **Software Engineer III **to lead the delivery of scalable software solutions through collaborative engineering teams. What You’ll Do
- Own the delivery of scoped features or models through collaborative engineering teams, managing implementation, iteration, testing, and ongoing support.
- Write clean, efficient, and reliable code across multiple languages, driving the full software development lifecycle, including CI/CD pipelines and automated testing.
- Integrate AI/ML components and leverage generative AI tools to enhance software intelligence and development velocity.
- Translate high‑level designs into detailed, scalable, and maintainable solutions aligned with platform standards.
- Partner with stakeholders to define technical requirements and success metrics, ensuring solutions meet user and business needs.
- Monitor application performance, perform maintenance, and ensure adherence to project milestones.
- Promote engineering excellence through mentorship, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement initiatives.
What You’ll Bring
- Extensive experience in software development with proficiency in languages such as JavaScript, TypeScript, Kotlin, and Java.
- Strong expertise in object‑oriented programming and documentation‑driven development practices.
- Proven ability to deliver scoped features and models through collaborative engineering teams.
- Hands‑on experience with code reviews, debugging, and CI/CD processes.
- Experience integrating AI/ML components and using generative AI tools to enhance development outcomes.
- Demonstrated technical judgment in designing scalable, secure, and maintainable software solutions.
- Ability to translate complex business problems into actionable technical requirements.
