Skills

Required

  • Minimum 5-6 years of experience in BY Catman with Fresh Installation or Upgrade Activity with development experience in .NET and related technologies
  • Proficiency with SQL and BQ
  • Conceptual and hands on knowledge on BY Apps and tools (Open Access, JDA Batch Service Installation, Space Planning, Floor Planning, Assortment Optimization, Planogram Generator, Data Manager, Console)
  • Extensive experience in analysis, design, development, testing, implementation, and documentation
  • Support the local and global community, in developing functional designs, making configuration changes, and testing application developments.
  • Co-ordinate functional requirement gathering and designing activities across multiple teams, Information Technology Groups and business stakeholders to collaboratively develop effective solutions.
  • Experience in build tools and CI/CD to automate code pipelines.
  • Familiarity with AI frameworks, LLMs, prompt engineering.
  • Leverage Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools and techniques to streamline business processes, optimise decision-making, and enhance operational in Space Planning and Assortment Optimization.
  • Collaborate with cross-domain teams to identify opportunities for AI integration, including predictive analytics for Space Planning and data-driven insights for Assortment Optimization.
  • Stay updated with emerging AI trends and technologies, ensuring the organisation remains at the forefront of innovation in Retail.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, computer information systems, software engineering, or related area and 2 years’ experience in software engineering or related area OR 4 years’ experience in software engineering or related area.

  • Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, or related area
  • Knowledge in implementing Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 AA standards, assistive technologies, and integrating digital accessibility seamlessly.
