Seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join the Inventory Technology team, focusing on critical supply chain services. The role involves technical ownership, leadership, designing and building scalable distributed systems, and driving the adoption of AI-assisted engineering practices and LLM-powered capabilities into production systems. The engineer will work across backend services, APIs, data pipelines, and occasionally user-facing applications, mentoring team members and ensuring solutions are scalable, maintainable, and reliable.

What you'd actually do

  1. Act as a technical owner and domain expert across multiple critical services, driving system understanding, stability, and long-term maintainability
  2. Provide technical leadership across initiatives, influencing architecture, design decisions, and engineering protocols
  3. Design and build scalable, resilient distributed systems using Java, Spring Boot, and AWS
  4. Own and deliver moderately to highly complex features and services end-to-end, from design through production
  5. Lead the adoption of AI-assisted engineering practices to improve developer productivity, including code generation, testing, and development workflows
