Google Google · Big Tech · Mountain View, CA +2

Software Engineer III at Google Beam, focusing on real-time ML-based 3D human capture and rendering for live 3D experiences. The role involves developing scalable software regression frameworks, automated release test infrastructure, and Hardware-in-the-Loop (HILT) testing for Google Beam's communication technology.

What you'd actually do

  1. Be part of the Beam Software (SW) Platform Infrastructure team, focusing on real-time Machine Learning (ML)-based 3D human capture and rendering for live 3D experiences without headsets.
  2. Take on a Beam platform infrastructure Software development role, providing a scalable Software regression framework used by the Beam Software developer community for the roll-out of our commercial product fleet in Quarter 4 (Q4) 2026.
  3. Act as a member of the team that builds an automated Software Release test infrastructure for Software testing in our Beam devices, utilizing a mix of Rapid, Layered Universal Continuous Integration (LUCI), and Omnilab.
  4. Work on a Hardware-in-the-Loop Test (HILT) framework integrated into the Beam Software stack and Hardware (HW) platforms.
  5. Help land our HILT testing initiatives, with tie-ins to our Software Release process for innovative future teleportation platforms.
