What you'll do...
About Team:
Our team collaborates with Massmart Product team to understand existing issues in Business and develops scalable tech solutions for them specifically SAP tech solutions.
Massmart is a Walmart market existing in South Africa(SA) with multiples banners like Makro, Game, Builders, with around 300 stores across SA.
**What you will do: **
In the current role you will be responsible for ABAP development for all prioritised backlog in SAP CAR for Massmart.
Your role also entails ensuring reduction in Tech debts and automation as part of Stable State operations.
As part of everyday operations ensuring engg excellence metrics are maintained, which means no P1 incidents, no regressions, no defect leakage etc.
What you will bring:
Minimum 3+ years of hands-on experience in SAP ABAP Development.
ABAP on HANA: Expertise in CDS Views, AMDP, HANA Data Modeling, and Code Pushdown Techniques.
CAR Modules: Practical experience in SAP CAR Components (POS DTA, OAA, IV, or UDF).
Interface Technology: Strong expertise in IDocs, RFCs, and API integrations between CAR and SAP ECC/S/4HANA.
Core ABAP: Excellent command over OO ABAP, Data Dictionary, ALV Reporting, and debugging.
Enhancements: Proficient in BADIs and Enhancement Framework.
