WHAT WE EXPECT:
- Must be actively enrolled in an accredited college/university program during the time of the internship
- Desired majors: Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Physics, Math, or related field
- Required coursework (at least 1-2): algorithms, data structures, and operating systems, programming, software testing
- Recommended coursework: cloud computing, database systems, or distributed systems
- Recommended programming skills in at least one of the following: Java, Golang, Typescript or Python
- Knowledge of data structures and algorithms
- Strong problem solving and ability to learn quickly in a dynamic environment
- Experience with working as a part of a team
- Dedication and passion for technology
- Interested in quality, developer experience & productivity or platform engineering
- Duration: 3 months minimum (opportunity for 6 months as well)
WHAT YOU WILL LEARN/GAIN:
- How to build enterprise-grade, reliable, and trustworthy software/services
- Develop new 3rd party integrations that contribute to expanding the functionality of the Snowflake application and deliver an awesome, consistent user experience.
- Collaborate with product management, and other software engineers to deliver new customer-facing features.
- Experience working with cloud infrastructure, AWS, Azure, and/or Google Cloud in particular.
