Software Engineer Ll, Account Threats Detection, Google Core

Google Google · Big Tech · Zürich, Switzerland

Software Engineer II on the Account Threats Detection team at Google Core, focusing on building and operating the ML ecosystem for transformer-based account activity models. The role involves implementing ML pipelines for experimentation, training, validation, and deployment, as well as analyzing model drift and collaborating with partners to integrate threat detection solutions.

What you'd actually do

  1. Build, optimize, and operate the ML ecosystem that powers UMAMI's transformer-based account activity models.
  2. Implement robust ML pipelines and agentic setup for seamless experimentation, feature engineering, training, validation, and deployment, accelerating the time-to-production for new threat detection's.
  3. Implement model metrics and benchmarks aiding in explainability of model behavior and Analyze models drift and identify opportunities for refinement, ensuring sustained models’ accuracy and effectiveness.
  4. Collaborate closely with our partners, including Trust and Safety, to ensure a seamless adoption of UMAMI in our daily threats fighting operations.
