Software Engineer, Markets

Polymarket Polymarket · Fintech · New York, NY · Engineering

Polymarket is seeking a full-stack engineer to own and evolve systems powering their prediction market platform, focusing on the Markets Portal, automation pipelines, and deployment infrastructure. The role involves building across a broad range of operational systems, from customer service APIs to operational workflows, supporting core product functions and teams across the company. The engineer will work across the full stack (frontend and backend) and partner closely with operations teams.

What you'd actually do

  1. Own the Markets Portal. Build and evolve the systems used to create, configure, and launch markets – the engine that drives Polymarket's content and growth.
  2. Build markets automation. Design and implement pipelines that streamline how new markets are researched, structured, deployed, and managed at scale.
  3. Ship deployments end-to-end. Take features and improvements from concept to production, with real impact on how the business operates every day.
  4. Work across a broad set of systems. Beyond the Markets Portal, you'll build and maintain a range of operational systems (APIs, dashboards, workflows) that support teams across the company and tie directly into the core product.
  5. Work across the stack. Touch both frontend and backend code, using modern frameworks to solve practical problems quickly and cleanly.
