Software Engineer to join Asana's Product team in Vancouver, building features end-to-end. This role involves the entire product development lifecycle, from conception to post-launch, with a focus on improving team collaboration. The engineer will partner with designers and infrastructure teams to deliver new features and enhancements, working within a continuous deployment architecture. The role emphasizes driving impactful projects for large organizations and contributing to a market-leading SaaS application.

What you'd actually do

  1. Work in a high-performance, dynamic team with a strong focus on velocity and software quality.
  2. Contribute to building a complex SaaS application that is a market leader in its segment.
  3. Gain exposure to Asana’s core infrastructure, particularly how data is represented, stored, and deleted in the storage layer.
  4. Work with asynchronous jobs and implement algorithms that efficiently traverse the Asana Work Graph.
  5. Partner with legal to implement data ownership rules, requiring simple and effective technical solutions to make this process easy and clear to customers.
