Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
US: $147000 - $211000 (USD) + 15% bonus target + equity + benefits

Responsibilities
- Write code that meets standards, applying artificial intelligence (AI) tools in the development flow, and ensuring your work is testable and resilient to failure.
- Balance short- and long-term goals, delivering capabilities to enable Search development requirements while considering platform improvements to implement future needs.
- Work with team members, other engineering teams (such as backend owners and vertical feature teams), and cross-functional partners (program managers, product managers, etc.) to ensure your work aligns with project goals and technical practices.
Qualifications
Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 2 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages, or 1 year of experience with an advanced degree.
Preferred qualifications:
- Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or a related technical field.
- 2 years of experience with data structures and algorithms.
- 2 years of experience in Java or Python or C/C++.
- Experience with distributed systems.
- Experience developing accessible technologies.
