Netflix is seeking an experienced Software Engineer to build and scale advertiser-grade reporting applications for their ad-supported tier. The role involves designing and operating reporting APIs, optimizing the Ads Druid analytics layer for low-latency OLAP workloads, and ensuring reporting systems meet audit-grade standards. The engineer will work with cloud-based applications and modern programming languages in a fast-paced environment.

What you'd actually do

  1. Build and scale advertiser-grade reporting applications that allow internal teams and, over time, external advertisers to explore, filter, schedule, and download Ads performance data.
  2. Experience in designing and operating external-facing and internal reporting APIs that enable self-service access to Netflix Ads data for advertisers, sales, and partner integrations.
  3. Expertise in owning and optimizing the Ads Druid analytics layer, powering low-latency, high-concurrency OLAP workloads that back all reporting, dashboards, and programmatic data access.
  4. Expertise in building reporting systems meet MRC and audit-grade standards, including data completeness, accuracy, traceability, and controls required for accredited advertiser reporting.
