What you'd actually do

  1. Build, lead, and scale multiple engineering teams (10+ engineers) across MTS, SMTS, and Lead Engineer levels in Hyderabad and Bengaluru
  2. Define and execute hiring strategy to attract top-tier distributed systems talent in India
  3. Mentor and develop engineering leaders (Engineering Managers and Staff+ engineers) to build a strong leadership pipeline
  4. Foster a culture of AI innovation, ownership, and technical excellence with emphasis on AI-augmented development practices
  5. Define and drive the multi-year technical roadmap for public cloud platform infrastructure automation

Skills

Required

  • 12+ years of software engineering experience with 5+ years in engineering leadership roles (managing managers)
  • Proven track record of building and scaling engineering organizations from 10 to 20+ engineers
  • Experience hiring, developing, and retaining top engineering talent in competitive markets
  • Strong people leadership skills with demonstrated success in coaching, mentoring, and growing technical leaders.
  • Deep expertise in distributed systems architecture, design patterns, and trade-offs at scale
  • Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, container orchestration, and cloud-native archit
