This is an exciting opportunity to join Intel as an Industry Immersion Intern. In this role, you will gain hands-on experience and build a strong foundation for your professional journey while contributing to Intel's innovative solutions and business objectives. The internship offers a collaborative, hands-on environment to strengthen your technical expertise in analog design, enhance programming and analytical problem-solving skills, and gain exposure to industry-standard design methodologies that support Intel’s technology leadership. This internship has a duration of six months.
The primary responsibilities for this role will include, but are not limited to:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support projects aligned with Intel's business goals.
- Learn and apply technical skills in a real-world environment to contribute to product development activities.
- Conduct research, analyze data, or assist in tool and process improvement initiatives to drive efficiency and innovation.
- Engage in problem-solving exercises to address challenges and deliver impactful solutions.
- Actively participate in team meetings and brainstorming sessions to share ideas and gain insights from industry experts.
- Document findings, progress, and results to contribute to the project deliverables.
Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications:
Minimum qualifications are required to be initially considered for this position.
- Enrollment in a Bachelor's, licenciatura or Master's degree in a relevant field such as Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- Proficiency in at least one programming language or technical tool relevant to the role (e.g., Python, any other scripting language ).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills demonstrated through coursework or projects.
- Intermediate to Advanced English proficiency (both verbal and written).
- Must have unrestricted - permanent right to work in Costa Rica.
Preferred Qualifications:
Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.
- Databases (MySQL, MSSQL or other relational databases)
- Knowledge of Power BI or similar tool
- AI-related experience (agent or skill development, MCP, CLI).
- Eagerness to learn and explore new areas of product development or technology.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to thrive in a team-based environment.
- Ability to adapt and take initiative in a fast-paced, innovative setting.
