With technical and leadership expertise, you manage engineers across multiple teams and locations, a large product budget and oversee the deployment of large-scale projects across multiple sites internationally.
In this role you will architect Artificial Intelligence (AI)-native, agentic systems that ensure secure-by-default and zero-regression product launches, eliminating toil to deliver developer journeys without impacting velocity. You will be a leader for the Singapore expansion, responsible for building and coaching a team from the ground up. You will drive technical expertise with local User Protection (UP) and Product Security and Data Protection teams to automate Gemini model introspection.

Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and grow a team of engineers to deliver quality tools and infrastructure that enhance engineering productivity and launch success.
- Drive cross-functional collaboration with Product Strategy and Support (PSS) leads to identify and implement horizontal tooling solutions.
- Provide technical leadership and navigate tests, guide the team toward solutions.
- Oversee the development of zero-regression automated verification frameworks, ensuring PSS products meet security and regulatory outcomes by default.
Qualifications
Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 8 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages (e.g., Python, C, C++, Java, JavaScript).
- 5 years of experience in a technical leadership role; overseeing projects, with 3 years of experience in a people management, supervision/team leadership role.
Preferred qualifications:
- Master’s degree or PhD in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
- 3 years of experience with working in a matrixed organization.
- Experience with Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning (AI/ML) workflows, building Agentic Platforms, or Large Language Model (LLM)-based developer tools.
- Knowledge of Security, Data Privacy or User Safety.
