Google Google · Big Tech · Mountain View, CA +1

Manage, coach, and grow technical managers overseeing security infrastructure, new security initiatives, and low-level firmware for Google Pixel devices. Drive architectural evolution of secure low-level platform code to memory-safe Rust. Guide the engineering roadmap for secure diagnostic tools, cryptographic signing pipelines, and automated lab testing. Collaborate with custom silicon design, platform security, and manufacturing teams. Design and analyze security systems on Pixel devices.

What you'd actually do

  1. Manage, coach, and grow emerging technical managers overseeing security infrastructure, new security initiatives, and low-level firmware.
  2. Oversee ARM Trusted Firmware (TF-A) execution environments and drive the architectural evolution of porting secure low-level platform code to memory-safe Rust (RF-A).
  3. Guide the engineering roadmap for secure diagnostic tools, advanced cryptographic signing pipelines, and automated lab testing.
  4. Collaborate directly with custom silicon design, platform security, and manufacturing teams to ensure device integrity.
  5. Design and analyze various security systems on Pixel devices.
