Salesforce is seeking a Software Engineering MTS for their Sales Transformation team to design, build, and maintain mission-critical applications that power business operations. This role involves hands-on coding, solving complex technical challenges, and owning features from design to deployment within a collaborative, agile environment. The team works on enterprise-scale solutions for sales, customer success, and revenue operations, acting as a validation ground for emerging Salesforce technologies like Agentforce and AI agents, impacting internal users and influencing product development.

What you'd actually do

  1. Design and develop scalable applications on the Salesforce platform that solve complex business problems and deliver exceptional user experiences
  2. Create robust integrations between Salesforce and 3rd party applications using REST/SOAP APIs, middleware, and modern integration patterns
  3. Lead features from concept through production—including technical design, development, testing, deployment, and monitoring
  4. Write clean, maintainable code following best practices; manage source code with version control; and comply with deployment standards and governance
  5. Develop comprehensive unit and functional test cases; maintain high code coverage standards; perform integration and smoke testing before deployment

Skills

Required

  • 3+ years delivering production-grade applications in Information Technology and Software Engineering
  • 3+ years of [Force.com](http://Force.com) development: Apex, Lightning (Aura & LWC), and Visualforce
  • 2+ years with Lightning Web Components, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and Java for APIs/integrations
  • Strong foundation in object-oriented programming principles, design patterns, software architecture, and test-driven development
  • Expert in Salesforce SOQL, SOSL, DML operations, governor limits, Sales Cloud, and Service Cloud
  • Experience with automated testing frameworks (JUnit, Selenium) and maintaining code coverage standards
  • Proficient in REST/SOAP APIs, web services, and integration patterns (event-driven, batch, real-time)
  • Skilled with Git, modern IDEs (VS Code, IntelliJ, Eclipse), and CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI)
  • Experienced with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban)
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with collaborative team approach
  • A related technical degree required
