Boeing is seeking Software Test Engineers (Associate, Experienced, and Senior) to join their Mission Systems Software team in Berkeley, Missouri. The role involves supporting the full lifecycle of software development, with a focus on designing, developing, and testing software tests for mission systems. A key responsibility is to design, implement, and optimize AI/ML models and Computer Vision algorithms for automated testing of avionic Pilot/Vehicle Interfaces (PVI). The position requires collaboration with cross-functional teams, adherence to industry, customer, and safety standards, and strict government regulations. Experience with automated testing environments and programming languages like Go, Java, C/C++, Rust, or Python is required. The role also involves integrating embedded software with hardware and testing/debugging software for embedded devices.

What you'd actually do

  1. Design, implement, and optimize AI/ML models and Computer Vision algorithms to facilitate the automated testing of avionic Pilot/Vehicle Interfaces (PVI)
  2. Develop and support the maturation of software testing solutions needed to robustly implement Open Mission Systems (OMS) software architecture
  3. Develop and implement innovative avionics software testing frameworks and tools, ensuring quality and technical excellence
  4. Designs, develops, tests, debugs and maintains software that is integrated into embedded devices and systems and meets industry, customer, safety and regulation standards
  5. Integrates embedded software with hardware components
