Solution Area Specialist - AI Business Process

This role focuses on selling AI-powered business process solutions to enterprise customers, guiding them through digital transformation and leveraging Microsoft's AI capabilities. The specialist will build C-suite relationships, lead sales processes, and deliver the One Microsoft narrative to achieve business goals.

What you'd actually do

  1. Partner with and lead Account Planning Team on Account Plan for AI Business Process opportunities, including decision maker identification and solution play selection.
  2. Establish and build C-Suite and Business Decision Maker (BDM) relationships as an industry aligned AI Business Process solutions expert to accelerate Dynamics 365, Power Platform, and AI.
  3. Build & maintain the required range of qualified pipeline coverage for rolling 4 quarters through digital-first seller tools
  4. Deliver the One Microsoft narrative and solution pitches to C-Suite executives and Business Decision Makers.
  5. Orchestrate business value and technical solution demos to align with the customers’ desired business outcomes and solution requirements.

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, Information Security, or related field AND 2+ years experience in technology-related sales or account management OR equivalent experience.

Nice to have

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, Information Security, or related field AND 8+ years experience in technology-related sales or account management
  • Master's Degree in Business Administration (i.e., MBA), Information Technology, Information Security, or related field AND 6+ years experience in technology-related sales or account management

  • 2+ years of experience selling AI Business Process applications to enterprise customers
  • 2+ years of experience forecasting, developing demand and building pipeline, and leading/orchestrating complex, matrixed teams.
  • 4+ years solution or services sales experience
  • Experience with selling CRM and/or ERP applications including Marketing Automation, Sales Automation, Relationship Sales, Customer Service, Field Service, Finance, Supply Chain Management and Commerce and an understanding of how they translate into business impact and value
  • Broad understanding of commercial cloud offerings, ideally including Microsoft’s cloud platform, as well as competitors and related ecosystems.
  • Industry expertise in any of the following: Financial Services, Healthcare, Retail, Manufacturing & Mobility, High-Tech, Automotive, Oil/Gas/Energy, Professional Services, Telco/Media/Gaming, and/or SLED.
