This role focuses on sales and technical pre-sales for startups and digital natives, helping them leverage Microsoft's Azure, Data & AI cloud services. The goal is to win commercial and technical decisions for Microsoft technologies, acting as a trusted advisor and solution designer. While understanding the AI landscape is critical, the core function is sales and customer engagement, not direct AI/ML model development or deployment.

What you'd actually do

  1. Lead commercial and technical discussions with customers using consultative sales methodology, demos, and programs to understand needs and showcase Microsoft solutions.
  2. Develop a commercial and technical strategy by mapping customer vision, resolving concerns, and building a strong business case for investment.
  3. Drive commercial propositions and technical assessments to create migration plans aligned with customer goals.
  4. Design commercial solutions using technical knowledge and methodology, ensuring agreement from decision-makers.
  5. Identify new opportunities to support customer objectives.
