This role is a Solution Consultant on the Commercial Growth team, supporting Commercial Solution Sales. The primary focus is on positioning and delivering product-specific solutions during sales cycles, acting as a technical and domain expert. The role involves leading discovery workshops, demonstrating the product, answering technical questions, and providing feedback to product management. While the company utilizes AI-enhanced technology and the role requires thinking about integrating AI into work processes, the core function is sales support and solution consulting, not direct AI/ML model development or deployment.

What you'd actually do

  1. The Solution Consultant is a technical consultant with the advanced ability to develop, position and provide product-specific solutions during sales cycles while achieving quarterly and annual sales goals for an assigned territory.
  2. Support product sales as a technical and domain expert of a client-facing sales team
  3. Lead discovery workshops to determine customers' challenges and give product demonstrations to align our solution with customer needs
  4. Answer product feature and technical questions from customers, channel partners and ServiceNow colleagues
  5. Provide feedback to product management about product enhancements that can address customer needs and provide additional value

Skills

Required

  • 3+ years of pre-sales solution consulting or sales engineering experience in the customer service, field service or CRM software industry
  • Proficiency with the ServiceNow platform or technical expertise with cloud software solutions
  • Ability to actively listen to customer requirements and provide a solution to address the customer’s business issue
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills to include technical and business concepts
