Solution Engineer role focused on customer engagements across a broad automotive software product portfolio, including Vehicle OS, SDS, and tooling. Requires strong automotive software foundations, ability to learn new technical domains quickly, and manage complex technical programs.

What you'd actually do

  1. Support pre-sales and post-sales customer engagements across Vehicle OS, SDS and Tooling pillars as needed
  2. Conduct technical discovery, demos, and proof-of-concept work across Applied Intuition’s product suite
  3. Adapt technical depth to whichever product pillar is most relevant for a given customer or opportunity
  4. Build cross-pillar proposals where a customer engagement spans multiple product areas
  5. Work closely with Applied Intuition’s product and solution specialists to ramp up on new product areas

Skills

Required

  • 4+ years of experience in automotive software development or technical customer engagement, spanning more than one product domain (e.g., ADAS + SDV, simulation + vehicle architecture, IVI + middleware)
  • Strong automotive software foundations with the ability to engage credibly on topics across E/E architecture, ADAS validation, and/or autonomy systems
  • Demonstrated ability to learn new technical domains quickly and apply them in a customer-facing context
  • Track record of managing complex, multi-stakeholder technical programs
  • Degree in computer science, electrical engineering, or related field
  • Programming experience in Python and/or C++
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English

Nice to have

  • Experience spanning both pillars: Vehicle OS/SDV/IVI and ADAS simulation/tooling
  • Prior Solution Engineering, Field Application Engineering, or technical pre-sales experience
  • Experience at an OEM, Tier 1, and/or automotive technology company
  • Familiarity with AUTOSAR (Classic and/or Adaptive)
  • Knowledge of ISO 26262, SOTIF, or ASPICE
  • German and/or additional European language
