Snowflake is seeking experienced Senior Sales Engineers to join their team in Tokyo, Japan. The role involves collaborating with sales teams and partners to understand customer needs, plan sales cycles, deliver compelling demonstrations, support Proofs of Concepts (PoCs), and drive deal closures. The Solutions Engineer will present Snowflake's technology and vision to executives and IT professionals, demonstrate value through demos and PoCs, understand the competitive landscape, and collaborate with product management, engineering, and marketing to improve products and marketing efforts. The ideal candidate has 5-6+ years of industry experience, 2+ years of customer-facing experience, strong presentation skills, broad experience in databases, data warehousing, ETL, analytics, and cloud technologies, hands-on SQL knowledge, and the ability to connect customer business challenges with Snowflake solutions. Fluency in both Japanese and English is required.
