Solution Manager for Caterpillar's MineStar Surface Management digital platform, focusing on customer value, product strategy, and engineering delivery for mining operations. What you'd actually do

  1. Deliver on the Surface Management vision and roadmap aligned to MineStar strategy
  2. Align Product Managers and Owners, Engineering, UX, and Data teams to deliver end-to-end solutions
  3. Focus on measurable improvements such as: Material tracking accuracy, Production visibility and optimisation, Plan vs actual compliance
  4. Lead evolution of capabilities such as: Digital terrain and surface models, Real-time production and material tracking, Geospatial intelligence and analytics
  5. Partner with: Business stakeholders to define value and priorities, Engineering to ensure feasible, scalable solutions, Customers and sites to validate real-world impact

Skills

Required

  • Experience in mining, resource industries, or MineStar
  • Proven track record in product management, solution management, or system-level leadership
  • Experience delivering complex, multi-system digital solutions
  • Strong problem framing and outcome-based thinking
  • Ability to operate across strategy and execution
  • Skilled at influencing across engineering, product, and business stakeholders
  • Comfort working in global, cross-functional teams
  • Understanding of fleet management / production systems
  • Understanding of geospatial / terrain / surface modelling
  • Understanding of autonomous or semi-autonomous mining systems
  • Understanding of data platforms and analytics
