Solutions Architect

Cohere is seeking a Solutions Architect to partner with Account Executives and Executive Leadership to communicate and demonstrate the value of their AI technology to enterprise and government customers. This role involves understanding customer problems, mapping them to Cohere solutions, owning the technical relationship, leading customer pilots, and acting as a liaison between customers and the product team. The Solutions Architect will also provide guidance on best practices, identify platform improvements, and cultivate technical champions within customer organizations.

What you'd actually do

  1. Leading the technical talk track on customer calls.
  2. Designing enterprise architectures for North deployments.
  3. Deep dives on customer queries and Cohere technology.
  4. Facilitating customer evaluations and pilots.
  5. Developing and documenting processes to enable the solutions architect team and adjacent teams to scale effectively within Cohere.

Skills

Required

  • 5+ years of customer-facing technical pre/post sales Solutions Architect/Solutions Engineer/Sales Engineer/Customer Engineer (or similar) experience
  • Familiarity with foundational ML concepts (training, evaluation, etc.)
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Thrives within ambiguous and uncharted environments
  • Can identify and implement high-impact processes in unstructured environments
  • Comfortable working with Python and Jupyter Notebooks
  • Exceptional communication skills in Japanese and business proficiency in English

Nice to have

  • 2+ years architecting or deploying NLP/AI/LLM Solutions
  • Experience customising models for specific business/organizational objectives
  • Experience architecting or deploying in cloud environments (AWS, GCP, Azure, OCI)
