This role is for a Principal Architect at JPMorgan Chase, focusing on developing and adopting cloud-based technologies and architecture platforms. Required qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in a related field, formal training in infrastructure architecture, proven system design experience, experience in risk and compliance, expertise in architecture disciplines, cloud-native systems architecture experience, proficiency in programming languages, in-depth knowledge in technical disciplines (including AI/ML as a possibility), ability to solve design problems independently, and understanding technology in the context of business strategy.

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field
  • Formal training or certification on infrastructure architecture principles
  • Proven system design experience
  • Experience in risk and risk control compliance
  • Expertise in application, data, and infrastructure architecture disciplines
  • Experience collaborating with business representatives and system architects to ensure successful design
  • Experience in cloud-native systems architecture or engineering, including system design reviews
  • Advanced proficiency in one or more programming languages, applications, and architecture
  • In-depth knowledge in one or more technical disciplines (e.g., cloud, artificial intelligence, machine learning, mobile)
  • Ability to tackle design and functionality problems independently
  • Ability to understand technology in the context of business strategy and evaluate current and emerging technologies
