Cohere is seeking a founding Solutions Architect in Saudi Arabia to grow their business in the GCC. This role involves partnering with Account Executives and customers to demonstrate Cohere's AI technology, understand customer problems, map them to Cohere solutions, and lead the design and deployment of customer pilots. The Solutions Architect will own the technical relationship, act as a liaison between customers and the product team, and provide guidance on best practices. The role requires strong technical expertise, customer-facing experience, and a passion for Generative AI, with a preference for experience in architecting/deploying NLP/AI/LLM solutions and customizing models.

What you'd actually do

  1. Leading the technical talk track on customer calls.
  2. Designing enterprise architectures for North deployments.
  3. Deep dives on customer queries and Cohere technology.
  4. Facilitating customer evaluations and pilots.
  5. Developing and documenting processes to enable the solutions architect team and adjacent teams to scale effectively within Cohere.

Skills

Required

  • 5+ years of customer-facing technical pre/post sales Solutions Architect/Solutions Engineer/Sales Engineer/Digital Strategy Consultant (or similar) experience
  • A passion for Generative AI, and an understanding of strengths and weaknesses of Generative LLMs and AI technologies.
  • Familiarity with foundational ML concepts (training, evaluation, etc.)
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Thrives within ambiguous and uncharted environments
  • You can identify and implement high-impact processes in unstructured environments.
  • Comfortable working with Python and Assistive Coding tools
  • native-level Arabic

Nice to have

  • 2+ years architecting or deploying NLP/AI/LLM Solutions.
  • Experience customising models for specific business/organizational objectives
  • Experience architecting or deploying in cloud environments (AWS, GCP, Azure, OCI)
