Solutions Architect role at AWS focused on driving adoption of AWS cloud services, particularly Generative AI and intelligent automation, with enterprise customers in the Hi-Tech and Semiconductor sector. The role involves building technical relationships, advising customers on cloud architecture, security, cost, performance, and operational efficiency, and helping them leverage services like Amazon Bedrock and Agentic AI architectures. The Solutions Architect will also contribute to best practices, technical content, and evangelize AWS technology.

What you'd actually do

  1. Build deep technical relationships with customers of all sizes and operate as their trusted advisor across the full breadth of AWS — from core infrastructure to the latest innovations in AI and machine learning.
  2. Manage the overall technical relationship between AWS and our customers, making recommendations on security, cost, performance, reliability, and operational efficiency to accelerate their most challenging projects.
  3. Guide customers across the entire AWS portfolio — compute, storage, networking, databases, analytics, and beyond — while also helping them unlock new possibilities with services like Amazon Bedrock for building Generative AI applications, and emerging Agentic AI architectures that automate complex, multi-step workflows.
  4. Participate in the creation and sharing of best practices, technical content, and new reference architectures (e.g. white papers, code samples, blog posts) and evangelize and educate about AWS technology (e.g. through workshops, user groups, meetups, public speaking, online videos, or conferences).
  5. Share customer needs and wants internally to inform the roadmap of AWS features.

Skills

Required

  • 8+ years of specific technology domain areas (e.g. software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics) experience
  • 3+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures experience
  • 10+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting in the software or Internet industries experience

Nice to have

  • Experience working with end user or developer communities
  • Experience architecting/operating solutions built on AWS
  • Experience within specific technology domain areas (e.g. software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics).
  • Experience migrating or transforming legacy customer solutions to the cloud
