In this role, you'll leverage advanced AWS services including Generative AI solutions like Amazon Bedrock, Amazon EC2, Amazon S3, Amazon RDS, and Amazon CloudFront to solve real-world business problems at scale.
As a technical leader and trusted advisor, you'll own the technical engagement around critical implementation projects while developing deep expertise in AWS technologies and security best practices. You'll have the opportunity to influence product roadmaps, create thought leadership content, and work with world-class sales and business development teams to drive customer success and business growth.

Key job responsibilities
- Design and architect end-to-end cloud solutions for customers, combining business acumen with deep technical expertise to solve complex, interconnected system challenges
- Lead technical discussions and presentations with customer teams, providing best practices guidance and driving consensus on solution designs that meet both technical and business requirements
- Develop and deliver technical thought leadership content including whitepapers, blog posts, reference architectures, and presentations to enable broader AWS adoption
- Own the root cause resolution of complex technical problems and serve as a trusted advisor to customers, building relationships with senior leadership to influence long-term technology strategy
- Collaborate with internal AWS teams including sales, business development, product, and engineering to gather customer feedback and translate requirements into actionable product enhancements
A day in the life You'll start your day reviewing technical architectures for a major enterprise migration, followed by leading a deep-dive session with a customer's engineering team on implementing GenAI solutions using Amazon Bedrock. You might spend time collaborating with AWS product teams to provide customer feedback on new features, then shift to creating technical content for an upcoming AWS Summit presentation. Your day could also include mentoring junior Solutions Architects and participating in design reviews for complex multi-service implementations.

Basic Qualifications
- 8+ years of specific technology domain areas (e.g. software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics) experience
- 3+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures experience
- 10+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting in the software or Internet industries experience
- Experience architecting, migrating, transforming or modernizing customer requirements to the cloud
- 6+ years of specific technology domain areas (e.g. software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics) experience
Preferred Qualifications
- 5+ years of infrastructure architecture, database architecture and networking experience
- Knowledge of SAP systems (like SAP Business Suite, S/4HANA, SAP Business Warehouse, SAP HANA, SAP Business Objects, etc.) and their architecture and infrastructure needs
- Experience working with end user or developer communities
- Experience managing relationships with SAP customers and partners
- Experience in SAP S/4HANA, SAP Cloud Platform, SAP Cloud ERP and Cloud ERP Private
- Experience in SAP clean core design concepts, including design and build using non-SAP technologies in domains such as Generative / Agentic AI, and data & analytics
- Experience in the public sector
- Experience architecting or deploying Cloud/Virtualization solutions in enterprise customers
- Experience in IT development or implementation/consulting in the software or Internet industries
- Knowledge of presentations and whiteboarding skills with a high degree of comfort speaking with internal and external executives, IT management, and developers
- Experience that includes strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and effective communication abilities, or experience in Linux and Networking protocols and experience managing full application stacks from the OS up through custom applications
- Experience in AWS products and services, including pricing and technical knowledge

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
