Solutions Design Manager, Talent Systems

This role is for a Solutions Design Manager within Netflix's Talent Technology and Operations team. The primary focus is on designing and improving HR systems and processes across the employee lifecycle, ensuring reliable data for organizational insights and a consistent employee experience at scale. The role involves defining problem statements, gathering business requirements, partnering with cross-functional teams (including Product and Engineering), and understanding system-wide impacts. While the role partners with teams that use AI and adjacent systems, it does not involve building or directly shipping AI models or agents.

What you'd actually do

  1. Deeply understand the holistic business, organizational and talent context / needs, and help shape the roadmap with the Talent strategy.
  2. Design global solutions: deliver and maintain a holistic infrastructure roadmap (including processes, tools, and systems) across the Talent Lifecycle, in close partnership with Global Business Practices
  3. Partner with HR COEs and SMEs to continuously improving the Employee Lifecycle, regularly review workflows and make recommendations for improvements, that delivers reliable data for organizational insights
  4. Partner with Product and Engineering to inform the strategic direction, backlog decisions, and roadmap for the HR Systems
  5. Lead project workstreams and teams aligned to strategic goals with ownership over the outcomes, decisions, and stakeholder alignment.

Skills

Required

  • 7+ years of HR Operations experience
  • 5 years of proven experience designing global workflows involving HR Systems (e.g. ATS, HRIS)
  • Experience with Workday HCM and ATS
  • Global Stakeholder Relationships Management experience
  • Strong business acumen
  • Strong problem-solving skills
