This role is for a Solutions Engineer at F5, a company focused on application security and delivery. What you'd actually do

  1. Provide F5 product strategy and value propositions in line with customers' business needs
  2. Build relationships of trust and deal generation with customers and partners
  3. Meet or exceed quarterly sales goals through deal management and sales forecasting
  4. Provide technical expertise through a variety of face-to-face and in-person sales presentations, solution designs, and demonstrations
  5. Identify decision makers and drive the sales process with technical validation and support

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent
  • At least 8 years of pre-sales experience in the IT industry
  • Experience in proposal, design and build for telecom customer (Japanese and English)
  • Strong communication, presentation and account management skills

Nice to have

  • Working experience with virtualization/containerization technologies (VNF/CNF)
  • Experience proposing solutions with cloud architectures (e.g. AWS, GCP, Azure)
  • Experience with container orchestration solutions (e.g. OpenShift, Kubernetes)
  • Experience with performance measurement and sizing of proposed solutions
  • Experience in Web Application design and development (e.g. Python, JavaScript)
  • Basic knowledge of competitive products
  • Relevant certifications (e.g. CKA)
