Vanta is seeking an Enterprise Solutions Engineer to lead technical discussions with mid-market customers and VIP logos, ensuring they realize the full value of Vanta's security platform. This role involves pre-sales consulting, developing innovative solutions, driving customer adoption and retention, and influencing the product roadmap by providing market feedback. The ideal candidate has extensive pre-sales technical experience, cloud platform knowledge, strong project management skills, and is open to using AI tools to enhance their work.

What you'd actually do

  1. Own the technical relationship with our customers, including:
  2. Partnering with Account Executive to provide prospects with a seamless onboarding and adoption experience with a focus on key integrations across their cloud infrastructure, version control and security systems
  3. Supporting and assisting the Sales team with aspects of the process including security reviews, implementation plans, technical qualification calls, and quarterly business reviews
  4. Promptly respond to inbound questions and other support requests from the Sales team
  5. Develop a deep understanding of our product capabilities, integrations, configurations messaging, partner ecosystem, and competitive landscape

Skills

Required

  • 5+ years of pre-sales customer-facing, technical experience as a Solutions Engineer, Sales Engineer or equivalent title
  • Hands-on experience with cloud platforms: AWS, Google Cloud, Microsoft Azure & Operating Systems (Windows, MacOS, Linux) and cloud application architecture
  • Strong project management skills
  • Creative, curious, technical, and naturally persuasive
  • Detail-oriented and organized
  • Ability to interact with various titles and roles within an organization including the technical and security-minded, plus executives within large companies
  • General knowledge with a scripting language (Python, Ruby, Bash, and JavaScript)

Nice to have

  • Familiarity with REST API development and service integrations
  • Prior B2B SaaS experience
  • Open to using AI to amplify their skills and strengthen their work
