Solutions Engineer for Vanta's New Markets in Japan, focusing on technical discussions with prospects and customers, guiding them towards the end-to-end solution. This role acts as a bridge between product development and customers, providing feedback to improve the product. Responsibilities include partnering with pre and post-sales, understanding product capabilities, building customer relationships, influencing product strategy, and developing Solutions Engineering processes. Requires 4+ years of customer-facing technical experience, strong communication, cloud platform experience (AWS, GCP, Azure), project management skills, and familiarity with REST APIs is a plus. What you'd actually do

  1. Partner with pre and post sales to identify, qualify and drive net new, expansion and renewal opportunities
  2. Develop a deep understanding of our product capabilities, integrations, configurations messaging, partner ecosystem, and competitive landscape.
  3. Build and maintain strong technical partnerships with our customers via engaging product demonstrations, trials, and other communications
  4. Develop a trusted advisor relationship with key accounts, customer stakeholders, and executive sponsors that may lead to renewals, expansion, and advocacy
  5. Influence Vanta’s strategy and product priorities to drive adoption and retention by being the voice of the customer
