Solutions Engineer Manager, Associate Programs

Cloudflare is seeking a Solutions Engineer Manager to lead their Associate Engineer Program. This role involves architecting and executing a world-class development program for early-career talent, transforming them into high-performing technical consultants. The manager will focus on curriculum design, pedagogical leadership, stakeholder alignment, coaching, and operational excellence, blending technical networking knowledge with commercial acumen.

What you'd actually do

  1. Program Architecture: Own the end-to-end ASE lifecycle, from onboarding and curriculum design to "graduation" into the field.
  2. Pedagogical Leadership: Build hands-on labs, certification paths, and competency-based assessments that validate both technical depth (Cloud, Security, Workers) and soft skills (Discovery, Demoing, MEDDPICC).
  3. Stakeholder Alignment: Act as the primary liaison between University Recruiting, Sales Leadership, and Global Enablement to ensure the program's output aligns with the business's hiring needs.
  4. Coaching & Mentorship: Provide direct management to a cohort of ASEs, offering structured feedback, career pathing, and performance coaching.
  5. Operational Excellence: Track and report on program KPIs, such as "Time to Productivity," graduation rates, and long-term retention of program alumni.
