Sourcing Manager

Workday is seeking a Sourcing Manager to manage low-to-medium dollar sourcing projects within their Source-to-Pay process. This role involves contract review, negotiation, and risk assessment to drive savings and mitigate risks, while adhering to established processes and category strategies. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 4 years of experience in procurement or sourcing and strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

What you'd actually do

  1. Execute sourcing projects in alignment with category-level strategies and established processes for low to medium dollar sourcing projects
  2. Manage a high volume of sourcing requests, primarily low-to-medium dollar value, often with standardized procedures
  3. Support the creation, review, and negotiation of contracts, ensuring favorable terms and conditions
  4. Negotiate with suppliers on pricing, service level agreements, and other key commercial and legal terms to maximize savings and achieve defined goals
  5. Conduct risk assessments to identify and mitigate potential supplier-related risks
