Space Assembly Integration and Test (ai&t) Ipt Lead - Staff Engineer Systems

Northrop Grumman is seeking a Staff Engineer to lead the Assembly, Integration, and Test (AI&T) process for space-based RADAR payloads. This role involves overseeing the entire AI&T lifecycle, ensuring payloads meet performance and quality standards, and managing multidisciplinary teams. The position requires a strong technical background in RF sensor system integration and testing, leadership experience, and an active Top Secret security clearance.

What you'd actually do

  1. Lead multi-discipline assembly integration and test effort toward rapid system development and integration.
  2. Develop System I&T documentation (System Integration and Test Plan, segment & compatibility test planning, test routers, etc.).
  3. Establish system test schedule, resource planning, and coordination across IPTs
  4. Coordinate with engineering and production teams to establish and implement effective processes and procedures for assembly and testing.
  5. Monitor and troubleshoot issues during the assembly and integration phases, providing timely resolutions to unforeseen challenges.

Skills

Required

  • BS degree in STEM
  • 12 years relevant experience (or 10 with MS, 7 with PhD)
  • Active RF or Passive RF Sensor System Integration and Test experience
  • Technical & People Leadership
  • Active U.S. Government DoD Top Secret security clearance

Nice to have

  • BS/MS in Electrical Engineering and/or Systems Engineering
  • Space Integration and Test (I&T) experience at subsystem, Payload, or Space Vehicle level
  • ESA (Electronically Scanned Array)/Phased Array Antenna Integration, Test, and Calibration
  • Active SCI clearance
